Thankyou to Tasmanian Alkaloids

A big welcome to one of our newest Puppy Sponsors!

Tasmanian Alkaloids have assisted our Association in the past. In particular, they contributed to the construction of our original kennel facility in Longford.

Now, however, they have taken it a big step further and become a puppy sponsor. This relationship has come about for a variety of reasons, but one might say it could have been fate.

One of our more recent Puppy Raising applicants, Tanya, works at Tasmanian Alkaloids and thought she better check before turning up at work one day with a Guide Dog Puppy in tow. Not only did Tasmanian Alkaloids say they would welcome the pup with open arms, they also decided to sponsor the pup as well.

In fact, they were so keen, they have sponsored the puppy and it hasn't even arrived yet!

But soon there will be a tiny little puppy arriving at Tanya's door and beginning its journey to become a Guide Dog. Tanya's puppy is going to be spending so much time at Tasmanian Alkaloids facilities at Westbury that it looks like we are going to have to call the puppy "Poppy".
