The provision of high quality services to international standard, which will enhance the independence and quality of life for blind and vision impaired people and assist them to achieve their full potential within the community.

We rely on the continued generosity of the Tasmanian public and Tasmanian businesses to continue to provide services to people who are blind or vision impaired.

Membership of the International Guide Dog Federation

Royal Guide Dogs Tasmania became Full Members of the International Guide Dog Federation in 2000. In early 2005, we again successfully undertook our Accreditation Process, which is conducted every five years in order to maintain membership and for quality assurance. We look forward to our IGDF Assessment during 2010.
