Little puppies do not become Guide Dogs overnight, and your special companion will not become a well-mannered member of your family without appropriate training and ongoing reinforcement.
It takes an enormous amount of time and money to train a Guide Dog to become the eyes and trusted companion for a Tasmanian who is blind or vision impaired.
You and your canine companion can attend a six week course that will help you enjoy the pleasure of each other’s company more fully and ensure you are both socially responsible members of your community.
Be more than just a friend to your dogs.
With some time, patience and little bit of help, your dogs can be all you would like them to be.
From basic training, to dealing with everyday problem behaviours, our dedicated team can provide the support you need.

Our course is supervised by Dan English, an accredited and friendly Guide Dog Instructor.
Dan has structured a course, to be delivered by qualified canine instructors, which can help you and your special companion to become best of friends.
Courses will be offered for both puppies and older dogs. The six (6) week cours will provide both you and your dog with a better understanding of basic obedience and health, and good manners around the home; helping you to have a socially responsible dog.
Participants will receive a Graduation Pack and Certificate on completion of the course. So, if you would like your dog to be well-behaved, call Stacey on (03) 6232 1222 to book into one of our courses.
Teaching your pet good manners is a great thing to do for your community and also good fun!
